I was born and raised in Busan, South Korea, a city that can be compared to Malmö in Sweden.
I studied Industrial Design at university, focusing on UX/UI, motion graphics, and editorial design.
After graduation, I gained experience working in various industries, including IT, fashion, exhibitions, and agencies, to discover the right path for my passion. Throughout my career, I've learned how creativity functions differently across various industries and platforms.
At some point, I began to question how I could navigate my way as sustainable designer in the fast-paced, ever-changing world of trends. As the COVID-19 pandemic came to an end, I decided to seek new adventures and broaden my perspective. This led me to choose Sweden as my destination.
Swedish design is renowned for being human-centric, minimalistic, and focused on soft skills, making it an ideal place for me and set new goals for the future.
I am currently exploring the Digital Creative program at Hyper Island to further my studies. Here, I have delved into a wide range of subjects, including UX/UI, growth hacking, programming, and essential soft skills such as giving and receiving feedback, effective communication in team dynamics, and self-learning strategies
This program has provided me with a broad knowledge base, allowing me to think logically, adopt a human-centric approach, and become a better team player while also developing leadership skills.
MY JOURNEY
-> I spent a year in New Zealand on a working holiday as Barista, Festival valunteer, Art tutor
-> I have completed two marathons and is currently looking for running mates.
-> I run 4-5 days a week.
-> I listen 80-90s hiphop while excersising
-> I’m crazy about cute arty stuff; that’s how I get motivated and excited! Traveling is one of the best ways for that.
-> My dream work is art-direction in creative media art, collaborating with musicians.
